I read, then checked it out for authenticity, that the Speaker of the House, Ms. Nancy Pelosi has a couple Limos at her disposal, one when she is in Washington and the other that takes her on her frequent trips home to San Francisco, that one being a luxurious Private Jet. The cost of maintaining that jet with the crew, fuel, etc. is mind boggling. At the same time we are telling corporate executives, "cool it, go easy with your perks", and rightfully so.
The more I allow my mind to dwell on what has always been a very corrupt part of our government, the Politicians who for the most part we elect, I shrug my shoulders and shake my head.
However, politics will never change. We elect them and they often deceive us. Nothing new!
As part of this new means of communication, we may write some zany things but hope we can keep from offending anyone. This is our third newsletter and we have a staff of 25 who will scour the country, and some will even go abroad, just so we can bring you interesting news. All we ask of you, our readers, is that you agree with everything we write, that you applaud when receiving a new edition, that you encourage your neighbors and friends to get on our mailing list. When our membership gets large enough we plan on having reunion dinners annually, sort of like a Club.
